Diana- thanks for the clarificaion. My mom got her letter today and he sounded good. Gas chamber went well, he said his sinuses are all cleared out. The final PT test was Monday and a final written test on tues. and BS 21 on Thursday.

I love the blue candles.

Poor kids! I wonder if they'll let them sleep in Sat.?

Okay, so I'm thinking maybe my daughter is off on her days... So let's just say BS can happen ANY TIME NOW. lol. I keep checking my cell phone to see that the ringer is on and that the charge is still up there. LOL..

Like one of the wives said on PIR 11/12, they are able to write all the time now, not just on Sunday, not that they have ANY time though! Reason being is that mail will stop soon. So make sure you let your recruit know which card/letter is your last. Or if your sending them until the very, very, very end. date them and make sure they are just "can't wait to see you, excited" notes because there is a possibility they will not get them. A Sailor told me he got a card sent when he was in basic, two months later while on base. He did say it made him laugh because of so much time going by.

OMG!!! I'm SOOO Excited! And know our kids ours too!!!!!!! I kiss her picture goodbye each morning giving her a thumbs up (my silly little thing that my family makes fun of me for).

Sooooo excited!!!!!!

Floss89 - It looks like there was an error on the BS21 dates for your group...they appear to be going tomorrow night not tonight. As for the calls, once BS21 is over, they will have to clean the ship for the next group that goes. Calls usually start around 1pm Great Lakes time....no napping for our guys and gals! :-)
