Good morning. I did not get on last night so I just spent time catching up. WOW!!!! You guys are great. Lots of great information. My son writes to his girlfriend every week asnd I have gotten 3 letters with very little info in them. He does like the letters I send and the pictures I put in them.
So we are almost there!!! Our children have the important week ahead of them now. I will be keeping my cell phone close as I go this week as I am sure we all will.
We have to much to be proud of in our children. I smile every day and cant wait for the day we see them graduate!!!
Enjoy your day and I hope to get a letter today.

@ Lonnie - my son isn't much of a writer either, but when I did get a real letter from him he thanked me for all my letters and said to keep them coming. I don't think we really realize how much they look forward to a bit of normalcy in their crazy world right now. He may be invisible (lol) but he is loving you more and more for all you write.

@ Holly- no need to apologize, I can't say I really expected him to write much! lol I say he's in trouble for not writing, but when I finally get to see him I'm sure I'll forget all about it:) It's like writing to the invisible boy! Ha ha Luckily, I have alot of support from family and all of you guys on here!

GO 365!!!

Hey Ladies. PIR 11/12 group "did the math" and it looks like Battlestations for us start on Thurs. night 11/4. Let's just light those candles tomorrow until we get THE CALL either Thurs. or Fri.!!

One of my recruits grandma got a letter from her yesterday. Nothing informative, just that see to can't wait to be on the grid again and counting down the days until graduation (they sound just as anxious as we are...so I believe they will pass battlestations on the first try!!! HooYah!).

Dee- I'm glad your letter was better today! (That ledge is looking like a memory now huh?..lol).

Diana- love the profile picture! Wish I would of thought of when I saw it on PIR 11/12...lol.

@ Holly - I sent him questionnaires and I wrote him a letter everyday that he's been in there, he just isn't writing anything back! LOL Thank goodness his last phone call was a good one cause he's not giving me much to work with here:) Ha ha

@ Dee- so glad this letter was better:)

GOOD LUCK 365!!!

WOW what a great letter Letz! Thanks for posting it for us! and your son, he is a comic now isn't he. I seriously think by putting all the pieces together that 365 really is a well-rounded group of young adults and they will all walk out after their 4 years, and a few maybe more years, with such great stories; starting with these from bootcamp.

The Halloween candy is safe tonight because my letter today was dated from Sunday and was MUCH better than the day's before, . No comment about her not making it, being really sick or freaking out or wanting to crawl under a rock. Just that she is VERY scared about her written test which already happened, Monday, and that she too, like yours Letz, is so ready to move onto being back on the grid.

She ended probably the my very last letter form her... yes Lonnie, I do think it has something to do with her being a girl and having to communicate that she always was writing... the very short, one sided letter with a list of stuff to bring "I want starburst, and a real bra and real underwear and my cell phone charged please and my mascara and my flannels and slippers and a sweatshirt and anything else you can fit in a black backpack"

thanks ladies for your support and laughter I will be forever greatful for all of you. ...
