My son's recruiter said you will get a call immediately if for some reason you are not going to graduate on time! I would say that if you haven't gotten a call yet then he's still on track for 11/12. Hope that helps some? Hang in there Kelly!!

Kelly- it sounds like he was sick and had to do some make up work. You will know for sure after this week (Battlestations)....keep the phone with you. I believe one of the moms said before that if graduation date changes they will let the recruit call to let loved ones know and usually it would be a week before graduation. Holly?

OMG.....11 DAYS!! You all have given me excitement energy again (I lost it a little after Holloween weekend..lol).

I have to find someone to "babysit" my recruit's fish (I thought I was done with finding "babysitters" a few years ago..lol). We are taking the shuttle to graduation but I am so excited now I want to drive and sit at the gate early in the morning until they let me in...lol.

I will be in IL two days before graduation and will make sure to pick up plenty of Kleenex for everybody :-)

Kelly you print them off this web site http://www1.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/upcoming_grads.asp
They are not available until 11 days prior to graduation. I just looked and they are not available for us yet

Wow, we are almost done! It's been one heck of a roller coster ride. If we feel like this, imagine what our children feel like.
I am gonna send out one last letter next Monday. If he get it, he gets it.
We are driving to the base for PIR. I know we have to be their around 6:30am to start the security process. This week I'm taking my 14 yr old to get a state ID so he can get in. I think I'll get one for my 11 yr old plus take their SS card and birthcertificate, just in case. My mom's van has had all it's fluids checked and changed and she has assured me that her ins proof card is current. I have my nephew lined up to house sit while we are gone. i'm getting my list around on what I need to pack and bring. I'll be baking and packing next Wednesday. It's REALLY almost time!! The only thing I lack to buy is the case of keenex that I probably will go through. Can't wait to see everyone. This group has ment a lot to me.

I would like to thank you all for this wonderful kinship. I have enjoyed reading and sharing and crying and laughing. This has been as much of an adventure for us as it has been for our children. We all raised some great children and helped them become wonderful adults. I am so looking forward to meeting you!!
In less than 2 weeks we will see our children again. They will no doubt be more mature and resposible. The stuff that makes us moms proud.
Thank you all again.
I will be driving on base for pir that morning. I think we can print out parking passes soon.
