Ok. So, can anyone give me grad n go information. I thought my recruit was staying in IL for A school so I wasn't paying attention to all of the grad n go information :-(

Lonnie'smom- hang in there....I'm praying that you get something today.

Floss89- blackeyed susans? buckeyes? What are they? Sorry, I am a city girl but if it is sweets...please do share..LOL.

Dee- Sunny AND Cold...how could that be? LOL. I am trying to program my brain that it will be cold there. I'm on the west coast and sunny and cold do not go together here...lol....it's either one or the other most of the time :-)

Lonnie'smom- hang in there...hopefully it will come today.

what is the story with the blue candle?
My son wants me to bring tea cakes (sugar cookies), blackeyed susans and buckeyes. Poor kid is missing his sweets.

So than looks like lots of Grad N Go for 365...... Hm, so think I probably should just figure a Sat. @ Ohare for my son's birthday. Can't say it won't be a birthday he will forget. I can just picture him talking about it to his kids, as he is in his 40's, "you think you have it rough, I had to celebrate my 17th birthday in an airport".. LOL

I "lite" my blue candle (electric welcome candle really) yesterday, next to her HS graduation pic, which is only 6 months old, and I cried. Oh man talk about emotion. And know why ladies. Because it's the beginning to the end and as that song says, "every new begininng comes from some other beginnings end". Like Holly said, but now even less cause as I type, 14 days from now we will be IN the ceremony! (chills..goosebumps..)

We just need to make that Friday night for our Grad n Go Sailors THEIR night. I wouldn't be surprised if all mine wanted to do is eat candy and ice cream while laying on my hotel bed while she flips through the TV.. :O) But of course, she did say she wanted Wild Wings first. How lucky am I that it's right across the street from my hotel.. :O)

Daily weather report: Sunny but COLD!!!!!!! High 54 right now 39! <--yes ladies, pack coats and sweaters! .

Hi Ladies. I received a letter today! Mine is a grad and go as well! She asked me to send her glasses ASAP. Can we do that? She already has one pair that she wore down there and a little hesitant to send them through the mail.

No information about the group, just about her (bring me this and bring me that) like one of the other Moms said earlier...some things don't change...lol.

Hi all. I got a letter today. We live inthe sticks so it takes us a little longer to get the mail. Alex is Grad and go and is leaving on Saturday. We are flying in to midway and will not get in until 700 pm on Thursday. How late are you all going to be at the meet and Greet. My husband and I would love to come now that we have firmed up our travel plans.
I want to thank you all for the stories and the support over this time. It has been hard for all of us and sometimes I just come back and read others comments just to put a smile back on my face.
