Holly, I'm sure it was a good thing for them both! After seeing mine graduate, his older brother who is a junior at ASU, confessed he called the recruiter to find out about officer candidate school for when he finishes college. I guess he was so impressed with our new Sailor and the overall atmosphere there he decided he wants to join! One side of my brain is thinking how awesome that would be but the other side is thinking the "oh no what is happening here?!?!"

The photo is great! I wish I could have been there too!

Holly- yes I forgot you are out there. She should be there next month for a year and then her fleet will go to virginia (if all stays the same because we know how the Navy likes to keep things interesting....lol)

Letzfly- let's hope it won't be too long that he will be there. I did hear of that happening and can be very frustrating...so hang in there and keep pushing the positive thoughts to him.

Floss- my daughter is undesignated too and if you have any questions about being undesignated (Undes) there is a group and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you look on my home page you can find the group's page.

Just got a call, he finished his financial class and was given his "duties" or something. Turns out the ATT school is backed so instead of starting Monday, he has a TBD status. He said he could be stuck at GL for awhile. He's kind of bummed out because he was looking forward to getting to San Diego. Only because he'll be within driving distance from his dog then!
