I found a summary of what they do each week on the Group "New moms stop here" and under their discussion forum "What is your son/daughter doing for 8 weeks" ! It says that week 3, they board a land bound ship for alot of hands on training and that they take their first PT this week.
@ladypinkhatter - I agree, lots of prayer for them and their Div

My son is going to be in Engineering. He said they had lost their phone privilege but had earned it back! Thank goodness! He said he had gotten a perfect score on his first test. Said they were wearing there camo blue uniforms now and that they had gotten their other uniforms this week. He also said they hadn't gotten any mail yet and was homesick! He said today would be 3-1 for them meaning third week, day 1 and said weekends dont count so next Thursday will be 4-1. If that helps? Said they had started writing letters this past Sunday, so hopefully we will get them soon:) It was very nice to be able to talk to him even if it was only for a few minutes!

My son is going to be an AO. Is div 365 all AO's or are they mixed up? He also told me that the group had a hard time coming together. To many chiefs and not enough indians.

I was so excited to get a call yesterday too. He called his girlfriend then me and had to let me go to call his dad. He sounds great. Said his job was forward hold, he is in charge of cleaning supplies. Said his OCD was coming out.. I had to laugh. He sounds great but cant wait for it to be over. He said that the group is having a hard time getting it together. Thanks all for sharing!!!! I know this made my week.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to get my son's phone call today!. He said bootcamp wasn't hard just miserable. We talked for about 15min. He said that maybe Sunday or before they will be allowed to get there mail. Brian has never been away from home for more than 4 days at a time. He said the days went by pretty fast. I'm glad because personally time seems to drag on

I got one too! Almost missed him though, it came up as unknown on my cell so I didn't answer. Then the land line rang, I said it must be another solicitor and didn't answer. Then I hear his voice and I dove for the phone! He sounded great!
He said they didn't get mail yet but were told they would tonight. He's not going to be grad & go, he's staying there for 2 weeks for att school or something?!?! That's about all he knew. He sounds like he's changed so much already!

I just got a phone call from my recruit! It seem like she was able to talk for a while. She asked me about your recruits (she knows I am on this website) and I told her we were all waiting for phone calls from them. She said that they got phone privileges taken away and earned them back. Your recruits should be calling today Ladies.
