My SR said today Ship 12 Div 224 has the Gas Chamber...let's add this into our prayers please!

Vgain, I'm not sure on that one! I'd try posting that on the PIR Groups..if you haven't already :-)

Quick question ladies...has anybody sent their SR contact lenses and solution? I heard they could have it for graduation. Curious if any of you know an answer of how much we can send and what a good time would be.

Ladies, thank you all for the overwhelming support. Nothing is impossible with God.

Rackie & NyRican:  I've been praying especially hard for you and your SR's and will continue to do so!

Tickled: How are you and the baby?? I wanted to "like" the pregnancy brain comment, so funny :-) I think of you and that late night flight the night before PIR. Will be also praying for safe travels for everyone too!

NYRican-are you aware of a group for our A school yet?
Comment by TickledTink on June 26, 2011 at 5:48am

Willsmom- baby's ok, thanks for asking :)

NYRican- yeah he wrote me that they got the scholastic flag after the first written test, then last week they got the fitness flag from the 2nd PFA and the STAR flag (compartment inspection) and then someone else (sorry can't remember who) said they got the drill flag, so that makes 4.  J did tell me when he called last week that they were in the running for the drill flag, so glad that they snagged it :)

Hey Tickled, you say they've earned 4 flags/recognition? That's amazing!!! I didn't know. I'm glad you are getting info.

Rackie the power of prayer is amazing. Take my son Jay for example who was the Religious Service PO for a while. He tells me that he failed his 1st PFA because he needed to do 60 Push ups in 2 minutes and only did 40. Afterwards he got real sick like all the other fellows did. He says he took a practice PFA and again only did 47 in 2 minutes. Finally for his 2nd PFA he recounts that "I prayed and prayed to God to give me strength and today I did 60 pushups in 67 seconds!"     Is that not amazing?! those were his words. This group has been through alot and has bonded really well and support each other.

I will be praying along with everyone else that's in rackie.

btw, Tickled, how is the baby doing?
Comment by Willsmom on June 25, 2011 at 7:41pm
Oh wow, that is great!  Of course, I don't know whether he will be a career Sailor or not (he probably doesn't either, at this point), but it is still cool!  nine months DEP, two months BC, eighteen months of A school....not too shabby!!!  :)
Comment by TickledTink on June 25, 2011 at 7:35pm

Willsmom- yeah, because they swore in to enter DEP, so that is the official beginning of their enlistment, at least that's what I heard from current and former Navy friends and his recruiter.
