Hi!

Can we please have a group prayer for a call this weekend!  You know what happened the last time we did this!  :)

The power of prayer and the power of faith are awesome.

We're leaving from CA and will be in flight at the time they'll be making the much prayed for  "I'm a Sailor Call" I'm hoping if my son know's when we land that he can call then.

I agree Willsmom and NYRican about seeing the faces in the photo. It will be so nice during PIR to recognize these SR's...It feels like I have in investment in the whole division, not just my own SR...  It will be a beautiful thing watching them march into that PIR Hall 2 weeks from today!

Willsmom: I will be traveling from Maryland and will also be in route or possibly already there on the 6th. Keep you posted if I hear anything.

NYRican:  I was wondering the same thing about the dates for BS being so close to graduation.  We are driving from Alabama, and leaving here on the morning of the 5th, so by the time we get the call, we will already be in Chicago.  It will really be quite the disappointment (to put it VERY mildly) if the call is something other than "I'm a Sailor"......I didn't see an explanation in the BS discussion.  Did you?

Two weeks today!!!! Wow! I can't wait and am starting to get butterflies in my stomach when I think of actually seeing all of these young men and young women become US Sailors! God bless them all, and all of you for supporting them so faithfully! You're right, NYRican, it is like meeting them when you look at the pic! It's good to put a face to the ones we've been praying for!
