For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No letter from my son today and the last two prior were really short. I'm praying we get a call this weekend! Still so thankful for the divisional photo though!

NYRican- no problem! They are a close bunch, so I'm sure that Justin and others will help lift him up! Becky- he IS really tall!!
J told me they can mail out letters on Thursdays now, too. Not sure if they can on Tuesdays. Guess I will find out if I get a letter tomorrow.

Hello again!! Just got computer going again. Our div pic was a sight for sore eyes!! Way to go Tickled!!!! My SR is in the very last row, in front of the 4th door(?) from the left. REALLY TALL one. The guy to the left of mine is looking off and grinning.

Hi all, sorry hadn't gotten on the comouter since Tuesday night. Gosh all our SR's looked great in the pic! Thanks Willsmom and Sailormom for pointing out your SR's, it's like I'm meeting them too :)
Tickled you are awesome, first you give us the greatest gift of the foto of our SR's and then you got my boy's back too :) hahahaha.
I received a huge surprise on Monday when I got a letter from Jay since I only received them on thursday's and I got this one on Monday. His spirits were much higher for that one, and then I still got my thursday letter today, so all in all this was a great week! I still haven't gotten a call but it doesn't matter the picture was better then a call. Wow, less than 2 weeks, yippee!
