Yes, SailorMomLisa, our new (4 y.o.) brick home burned to the ground and no one could figure out why.  God had a plan, though, (Jeremiah 29:11) and no one was hurt, and He did give us beauty for ashes.  All things work together for good...(Romans 8:28)

I also am thankful for the 'prayer attitude' of this group.  Prayer is a mighty powerful tool

My son is standing right next to yours NYRican! He is 2 over from the male RDC, smiling, head tilted. It's so great to "see" them. The smiles make this all easier!

Praying for your "special intention" navymommo.

Wow, Willsmom, you lost everything in a house fire last August? How traumatic, hopefully everyone was ok! I agree with navymommo, the Navy RTC page is a great place to have your question answered.

YAY, Rackie! So glad your FIL & family will be at your hubby's PIR! ...and you made it home safely!

Navymommo...I will keep you in my prayers today, and would request that you keep me in yours.  I won't share the details of the request, but God knows.  Thank you.

Thanks for the ID card info.  :)

Willsmom, ask that question on the rtc Facebook page and they will answer you.
Could everyone please say a prayer for my special intention? I would truly appreciate it. I am so grAteful to be a part of this group that knows the power of prayer

btw...does anyone know if a temporary photo ID will be acceptable to get onto base? We lost everything in a house fire in August and have just gotten around to replacing my husbands ID... they say it will take 30 days to get the permanent one. Procrastination doe not pay. :(

NYRican-your son does look good!  Isn't it a blessing to be able to have this wonderful surprise of seeing them???  My son is on the right side of the pic;  female RDC, two female SRs, my son!  Yippee Yi Aye!!!!  Can't wait until PIR (15 days!) to see him!

AMEN, Rackie!!!  Praise God for His goodness and His mercy!  So thankful to hear your FIL got his visa!  I've been praying for you, him, and all of us and our SRs!  God bless us all!

That is awesome, NYRican, he looks very good and happy with that big smile on his face!  I actually just wrote to hubby about your son, he is the EPO, right?  I told him to be extra supportive to the EPO because the RDCs are getting him down making fun of the one stripe thing.

1 Chronicles 29:11-13(KJV)
"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.

Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.

Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name."

Good evening everyone.. We always have to count our blessings: here's mine for this WONDERFUL day:

1. Daddy Roel my father-in-law was granted a tourist visa today!

2. Last night after working at the hospital(7pm-3am shift) I drove to Naval Air Station-Lemoore (for 4 hours), I arrived safely there and back. Was very nervous especially on the way there since it's a really dark and winding road (Pacheco Pass and I-5). I prayed and sing praises the whole way, glad to have K-LOVE radio.

3. I was able to get my military ID..finally..

4. I went to NFCU to "fix" the account and now I have access to it! I prayed so hard that I'd be able to talk to someone who would help me. Brenda (bank clerk) was really helpful and very patient to answer all my question and needs. She made everything so effortless!
5. Meeting all of you helpful ladies here in N4M who help me navigate to this new lifestyle. (Amanda, thanks for the form!)
6. My GPS broke down and I was glad that my co-worker Dolores printed out directions just in case.. I got there and back safe.

7. All the helpful people in the NAS. Who was patient to me who is so bad with directions. I met an officer who handed me a detailed map of the area and even highlighted the DSP, NFCU, starbucks, gas station and how to get to I-5.

8. The icing in the cake, seeing my husband in the picture! (Angel whose husband is in the same ship12/div 224 won the Tuesday trivia on the facebook page of RTC.

9. For all of you here, thank you so much for the support and prayers.

Remember, with Jesus Christ everything is possible! God's mercy and blessings to to all of us, and our families!

He is standing tall and looking good with that priceless smile. This day just couldn't be better. My baby is looking healthy. Thanks a million Angel :)
