I can relate to that, SailorMomLisa!  Looking so forward to seeing my son July 8th, yet what a bittersweet time that will be, as he will be leaving that day and will be even further from home!

Praying here too! I'm hoping for a letter soon, I've only gotten two. Not sure if this is getting harder or easier...

Oops :-) Sat July 2nd. Don't think any of them (or us) will want to be going back after their PIR, even for a little friendly competition, LOL

Hi Joelsrackie :-) et al....

I got my airline tickets, yay!! There were a few wanna get away deals left..not sure how long they'll last. Most of the travel plans are made, now just have to sit back and wait...not so patiently :-) I am so excited I can't stand it!! Read a few interesting things on the FB RTC page. They mentioned that the Captains Cup is the Saturday before their PIR. So for our Div that should be?? Sat July 9th. It sounds like a fun field day/competition between divisions. We'll have to be sending special prayers their way that day. Also read about a black bag for sailors leaving for A school elsewhere. Won't effect my son, but maybe some of your SR's. More info on the main RTC page. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
