I got two letters, mailed Tues 5/31, received in San Diego Thurs 6/2 written with RTC paper and envelopes. Letter 1, 5/29: - "Things are hard here, I'm not gonna lie. Every day is a 16 hr day and…Continue

see if this works...when you get to it, there will be four different pdf files you can open - from boot camp to battlestations! It is really fantastic!

Wow! Just went to the link for info about Battlestations and suddenly, unexpectedly my eyes filled with tears and my skin with goosebumps! Not tears of sadness, but of pride! We are all fixing to have United States Sailors! God bless each and every one of them!
Tickled Pink & Becky: Not sure why some get "the call" and others don't but know that we're all here to support each other! Those were bonus calls but we are supposed to get a call from our sailors in weeks 3 or 4 as well. Keep that phone near you! I forgot mine in my purse, my son left a message then had to call the landline. It ate up a lot of the time he had for the call. You will hear from him though! My son said he sent a letter now, so we should start receiving mail soon too! I've started a list next to the phone of the important things I want to ask my son when he does call next...now I have to remember the list, lol
Hope you all have a Great Memorial Day!
I'm still waiting for my husband's call! I missed his call on 5/22 :(
He sounded SO sad on the voicemail, it broke my heart!
I had my phone with me at all times all day today expecting him to call since I know the division has earned another. I even put it in a ziplock bag and kept it safe while I went to the pool with friends. What times are they able to make calls? Will he maybe have time tomorrow?
