Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Congrats on your letters ladies! It boosts you to the next level. No phone call today! Maybe tomorrow, if not maybe a letter on Wednesday! Jmom I heard from Becky on Wednesday and I think she thought Jake might be home in the next few days. So sad!!! My son also mentioned that he had become friends with Jake. So mayne my son and your son are friends!!! That would be great!!!!! I need to start writing down some names so I know who to ask about! lol

...and I got my letter too! I was so excited! It was so good to hear from him. He was just as humerous in his letter as he is at home. Sweet and funny so they haven't broke him yet! :)

Got my letter too! The only sad thing is he hasnt received any of mine and he is VERY upset. I have sent a letter everyday since I got his address.

My MIL txted me with this:

He sent me a letter!- Says he's sore and achy but that's what he went there for. Also, that the kids (18-20 yr olds) got them all in trouble and they had to do extra PT. Other than that hes ok.

I wonder how many kids got a slap upside the head from the others? lol
Oh well, they will learn. Mostly the hard way but learn none the less! hahahaha
