FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Me too! She is going well. Likes it so far. She sounds so mature, well after she got the tears under control. She says not to worry she's doing good. So happy!

read Division 268 got calls yesterday so for us it could mean any day but I am guessing Thursday, so we will see what happens

Corina, you are so right. I'm a helicopter/ suppository mom. ( always hovering/ up the butt) always knowing what he was doing, who he was with etc.... To me this is torture, communication black out. Although I know where he is, and who he is with, I'm so used to talking to him every day!

We are getting ready to drive from Phoenix to Redding CA. Lots of dead spots for my cell. I'm hoping that I don't miss the call if we get one. Kinda stressed over that.

lol jma... i got a letter today about how to obtain a military id and the insurance for me. i hope the division gets to call i look forward to it everyday because ive read and heard and seen on videos that the SR will be able to make a call 3 to 4 weeks after they get there. hoping he calls tomorrow. tomorrow they will have a trivia on the page.... who ever wins the trivia gets a picture of the division they desire.... heads up! maybe we can win and get a picture of our 940....

he may have bought one while there, I heard they get $150 when they get there to spend and their needs and that may be one of them because they can buy stamps and stuff too.
