tmasters: my sailor was one of the boys who had to wait to take his test as well. He called on Saturday with the rest of the boys but he wasn't too thrilled about his test being delayed or being sick. He was out for three days because of a "cold"

tladams: they went through gas chambers today so don't worry- if something was wrong you would have gotten a phone call. Sometimes no phone call is actually better. He made it through- no worries. Battle stations will be stressful but they have spent the last month preparing for this test- they will get through it. :)

So, glad he called. I know that was a huge relief.

I'm so glad you got to talk to your son tmasters. I hate it that they've all been sick. I think this is going to be a really long week. I'm worrying myself silly over gas chamber and battle stations. I just want it to be over. Can't wait til next week. Hopefully we all get mail this week with good news.

Well ladies my son was one of the two who had to wait to take their test. He took it today, passed and called home. He has been sick with pnemonia and was hospitalized and on bed rest for a few days. He told me he is well and ready to serve :). Said all was going well and talked a lot about next week and everything they have been doing. Said he probably wasn't going to write this Sunday as they are super busy and they have a couple test coming up Monday. He also said he would probably call home again early Wed. am after Battle Stations. Thanks for your support! I can't tell you how relieved I feel knowing he is okay. Yeah!!

So glad to hear all of your news as always, I don't know what I would be going thru without all of you. Still not a word for this VERY anxious mom. Do you all think l could get away with hugging him first then smacking the back of his head? My hub
by is trying his best to keep me distracted: spending the weekend in Sanibel Island, but I know how to use my phone now so I was able to bring you all with me. Thanks ladies you have been my life line.

Thank you Carolinagirl. I did not get a call :(. I was really hoping to escpecially when fabnoble got her's so late. I know I shouldn't be such a baby especially when there are others who sometimes don't get calls or letters. I was so worried by telling you all what he wrote in his letter about maybe calling again...I was afraid I got all your hopes up. :) I am happy for all of you though :) I am very thankful for all the updates too. Thank you for the information through your son. I have been worried that mine may of had a relapsed with the illness. I will wait for Thursdays mail to find out what happened. Thank you for the hugs too :)
