Welcome to the new ladies! This site has definitely been a God send for me. I've been receiving my letters on Wednesday so I've got my fingers crossed that I'll get mail today. I'm glad the guys are having some fun. I know this was going to be a tough week for them so I hope they are all doing well.

Welcome Nathan's mom! This is a great group for support. I understand about missing a call. I missed the first one and balled my eyes out for the whole day.

Here you all are!!! I have been looking for you!! :-) My son is in SHIP 3 DIV 233!!! I just got here but I am going to read "backwards" through all of the posts. He left with a girl and a guy from Omaha May 11th. He seems to be doing good but I haven't talked to him!! My husband has quite a few times but Saturday morning I was in water aerobics and for the first time left my phone in my locker (who would've thought he'd call Saturday morning!!) I cried when I saw I missed yet another call. I am glad that his dad has always been there to get the calls so he got to talk to someone!! But still, I am his mom, I miss him more!!

Welcome i3randie, glad to have you. We have a wonderful group of great ladies. As far as things to do, I have started a kind of database on my page in the blog with everyone's info and at the bottom I have saved weekend suggestions and restaurants, I will send you a friend request so you can see it. Again welcome, your brother is very fortunate to have such a concerned and caring sister.

Carolinagirl: I got your VM, thanks for your concern, I'm good. After a very long day we actually got the chance to try out a new restaurant that I've had my eye on and had a real date night with my hubby, first one since last year when my daughter went to camp!! It looks like we may have even gotten our page back.......
