Proudmom2be09 - it is hard we wait for days for that letter and it is so uplifting and the it's the waiting game again. Look to all of us :) these ladies are great. My girls said today as my oldes daughter was passing out each letter "Yeah...this is like Christmas"...isn't that the greatest!! I can't wait to tell my son!

YKylesMom - yes I bet it is harsh....especially with the comment from my son about never making that mistake again. :) He seemed good though :) He had a little lol next to his comment. I forgot to mention and I think its cute. My son said he has made a lot of temporary friends :) I think there are a lot of nice guys in the bunch but they all have to say their good-byes soon.
tladams38-I know, I love all the I miss you's. My son has only mentioned a couple of names too but I can tell the way he talks that there are more.

Thank you all! Today I'm a little down as usual after getting a letter because I know it will be a while before getting another :(. My sailor says apparently mail only goes out there on Sundays even if he writes each day. I treasure each and every one he does get to send and always find myself stalking the mailbox anyway! All4him- I am very glad to meet you! It is definitely great to find another gf/future spouse. I hope all of our guys have it easier these last few weeks...my love has the flu now.

I'm glad you got a letter tmasters. My son always mentions how much he misses home and family about 4 times in every letter. LOL. He hasn't mentioned any names, just that he's friends with a guy from Tulsa and and one from Minnesota. Doesn't seem to match up with any of the ladies on here though. Anyway, can't wait to hear about more letters from our young men.

Got a letter. My son actually wrote to me, my husband, and his three sisters. Very sweet. He talked mostly about missing us. He seems to be happier. Said he made an error the other day w/rank and will never make that mistake again. Talked about the test and passing. Told me he and Carolinagirls son shoot the sh-- when they can and he is good buddies with another guy starts with S. He sounds really good, said he's been getting about 4 hours of sleep lately because he has had watch.

My mail came today and i saw the SR on the envelope and was so excited to get mail today . It turned out to be a girl that my son knew who wrote and not from my son. While feeling a little down it was still as heart wrenching as if it was from my son and still made my day hope I get a letter tomorrow they are on the same ship just different divisions
