OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi ladies! I am definitely late finding this group but so happy I did! My fiance is in this division and after reading ALL of your posts, it really helps to know what we are all experiencing, that I'm not alone! Today was a great day because I got a letter. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thank you all for sharing!

My son is going to San Antonio to be an MA. Navy equivalent of Military Police.

Judymg. - thanks for the update. I'm glad they are all starting to come together. I told my son that he will probably meet life long friends during this and I hope that's true. My uncle retired from the Marines and still has friends all over the world. I know it has to be a life changing experience for them.
I'm so proud of all of them.
