No call for me either yesterday. But I did receive two letters and he sounded really good. Much better than previous letters. I think now that he's started getting mail his spirits have lifted tremendously.

tmasters: I'm here, just didn't want to rain on anybody's parade, still no letters and no calls. I called my son's girlfriend yesterday to tell her to expect a call (which she got) but she didn't call or even text me, sent me a brief email around midnight just saying that he called, no details at all. Fighting tears, (and PMS isn't helping).......need hugs bad.......

Good morning. So mom called me excited she got her first letter. My son wrote in his letter to her that he had a tooth pulled last monday. They made him stay in bed on meds for 3 days. I bet that is the case for your son Kyles Mom and that is why he didn't call. My son didn't tell me that part on the phone only that he had been really sick, and then stuff about whats coming up for them. He told my mom he had test this week and so he studied a lot in bed and got to write some letters. I feel your ache Kyles Mom, I broke down last night when I went to bed..they go through and have gone through so much. I betcha he is resting up! Keep them in prayer...it's working because they are all getting better and made it through the illness. Thank you. Big Hugs.
Docsangel- where are you?

Kyle's mom....Wow 5 teeth...i'm assuming 4 of them were wisdom teeth. I think Carolinagirl is right. He probably doesn't feel well and might even be on some pain medication. I'm worried about all the recruits as many of them sound pretty sick. I hope they disinfect the place. I wish we could bring them a big pot of chicken soup and some jello.....just like when they were little....sniff.sniff.
Hope you have a great day, too! Keep the faith.

kyles mom - i'm sure that is why you didn't get a call. I can imagine with all they are going through and then to have 5 teeth removed I could understand him not feeling well. We are here for you. Hope you have a great day today.

Well...probably shouldn't call them boys since your son has children. Well, with everything they have all been through to date and have to accomplish in the coming weeks...definitely men!
Kyles Mom - I'm signing off for the night you are in my thoughts.

Well glad to know you. Not sure if the boys are bunk mates...but they are buddies. Yes, good to know :)
