Got the call too!! Thank God! I was at the community center for swim lesson and had no service. My daughter told me to go outside just in case. There came the call within 5 minutes :) My son has been very sick. He barely had a voice. He said they had 71 guys not but didn't say why. He thinks he is buddies with one of your sons but he couldn't remember the user name. He did tell me a name but I don't think we are suppose to say. Starts with a B. He said they have some tough stuff coming up and as long as he passes he graduates on time. (fire fighting, chemical control and of course battle stations). He said he did poorly on a run test because he was so sick, but passed another strengthy sustain test with s 103 fever. He feels if he can do that he can do it. He sounded tired...no voice but told me to tell everyone he is fine. He said it's hard but not as bad as he anticipated. Then I heard the RDC start yelling time was up. Then I cried and cried. I'm so glad you all got your calls. Kyles mom did you get yours yet? crossing my fingers..Hugs.

Just got off the phone myself. My son said the same thing...half the division is sick and everyone's coughing but no one wants to go the doctor because they don't want to be held back for graduation. He also sounded very tired but on the whole...OK. Said the same thing about the phone call being cut short. The call came at the perfect time...just walked in from work. I heard the RDC's yelling to get off the phone after only a few minutes and I swear I wanted to scream right back at him to shut up and let us talk! :) I'm hoping they have each other to lean on.....although nobody's as good as MOM.....
