I'm right there with you - sent my last letter. Bittersweet. When asked why I write a letter a day, my response is 42 cents is cheap therapy.

I sent my last letter today, I also felt sad. It's funny I felt like I was able to "talk" to him daily even though I haven't actually spoken to him in weeks. I really hope they all kick*** in BattleStations on Mon. Then.... away we go to GL!

I sent my last letter yesterday, and it made me very sad. I feel like I felt that first week before I had his address. I was writing to my SR daily and so I felt "connected" to him. Now I feel adrift again. My consolation this time is that I will be seeing him VERY soon. I am so excited I can barely stand it. Everyone at my work is doing the countdown with me.

I read on the 10/1 group, a mom whose son PIR'ed on 9/17, she was there around 5:45 and was waiting in a line!! They won't let you in before 6:30 but I guess it is good to be in the line early, to get good seats. What is better, higher up or more towards the bottom? We are at the Navy Lodge which is really close ( 1mile) so I think I am going to be in that line around 5:45 also.

Got my pass too! What time are you guys heading to the base that morning? I was thinking leave a little before 6? Is that too early or good timing? Anyone else going to Meet and Greet at the Ramada? I'm not ready to stop sending letters yet :/ I feel like I need to keep sending them until the end!

Printed our parking pass, too....How exciting! Everyone remember to have your passes even if you are taking a shuttle and just walking thru the gates. You will also need them when you take your SR back to base each night. Also, if you walk thru and don't get stamped... be sure and check in with security at USS Yorktown (RTC's Visitor Center) to have your ID's checked and get your hand stamped..otherwise you will not be allowed into the drill hall for graduation. Hope everyone has an amazing day!! Hugs ♥

Maybe we'll get one some time this week!! I'm really hoping so. We are so close to the end. Not sure if I'm ready to say good bye again after the weekend is over :( It's gonna be like day one all over again.
