Hi All - My son is Spec Ops too and was Ship 4 / Div 818---PIRd 09-02.... Is now Classed up TODAY in NACCS for Rescue Swimmer. Just thought Id pop in to say Hi as I have been here and done this.!

These guys are held to a very high standard and no you prob wont see any photos of them in fact - once they are out of BC you will not want to post any of them either since this site is NOT secure! Even your RDC can read your posts and quite often did on our.. my son informed me! hahaha
My son got sick as well, fortunately he just pushed through it with a day of bed rest but it happens! hang in there and know that they are strong. They will make it - if not you probably already would have gotten a call by now. They are almost halfway! These guys stay REALLY busy and are PTd a lot so you will get up and down letters and calls. My son said he felt Bipolar (which he is not) while he was in there. He did great and thought it was a walk in the park for them. They have a special attitude - these guys! Anyway - hang in there, they are strong therefore you must be too. My son said all the letters he got made a big difference for him. OH and he said he LOVED the funny questionnaires I made for him and gave him more time to answer questions than basic letters - so yall keep that in mind... ALSO - some of my sons Div was Grad N Go as was he - so just plan on some that will be - If you dont know about GnG then go to that site... a lot of good info there and also some of us moms posted our GnG stories for others to read --- Okay mommas/wives - HUGs It will still be a roller coaster ride for a long time --- stay steady! Ill check in from time to time!
