My SR got sick too but not sure if he caught the pink eye. I'm hoping not! I hope your SR has recovered. His schedule that you posted the other day looked intense! Not fun to do while sick thats for sure. I don't really have a set work schedule so my days off vary. I do work mornings usually though and I am off by 2. We should meet up! Let's discuss more in a private message :)

Tasha, You're right, things have been pretty quiet lately. My SR told me he had pink eye, a finger infection and a cold. Been getting some info from his gf in USF, but not much. Thanks for the update on battle stations. We really should meet sometime. When are you free?

Hey ladies! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Haven't been so chatty lately I guess we are all at the same level as wisconsin mom; acceptance. Just taking one day at a time for the next 17 days! The last letter I received was dated on the 5th so I am not sure if they went through Hell Week last week or if its this week. My SR said everyone is getting sick and the pink eye is going around in their division. He also said that Battle Stations should be on the 27th and "sailor" calls on the 28th. I'm flying up on the 28th so I'm hoping for the phone call before I get on the plane! I pray they all get healthy soon and keep things together for BS21.

Acceptance = that's where I am now. I have accepted that my boy is a young man and about to be a sailor. I gave his room a good cleaning and moved my treadmill into his space. Instead of it just being his room, it's now my workout/son's bedroom. Might as well make use the the empty space right? It's been a tough month since he left in August for me (can only imagine how hard it is our our boys) with my boy leaving and the loss of a very dear friend. This past summer has been an emotional roller coaster but finally feel like I'm back on track. I am so excited to see the changes in my son and am just amazed that in a couple weeks we'll be at PIR. Have a great weekend girls.

They will also earn longer liberty than the rest of the divisions

@floridayankee- from the way my son described the Hall of Fame, this is for when a division wins the captains cup, but does so with scores that are above a specific standard.

Got a letter from my son also. My son sounded much more upbeat in his letters and even though he didn't mention anything specific about how the division is doing, it certainly sounded like everything was coming together.

Really glad to hear they have a shot at the hall of fame and shows how far they have come. During my phone call a couple of weeks ago with my son, at that time he didn't think they even had a shot at hall of fame! Go Division 821!!
