OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son's PIR is 10/31/14. Would love to chat with other moms that have kids in Div 821.

Work was a great distraction for me this weekend. I would have gone crazy stalking this site and waiting and waiting for the phone to ring. Well anyway, everyone have a great week and hang in there. It gives me great comfort to know that my son is with the children of such wonderful people. Oops wives too, my bad Tasha. Hey by the way, just had a chance to catch up, which school did you go to? Waihee?

We are almost in the 20 days left countdown!! I hope they are all holding themselves together and working as a team. Don't wanna hear that their PIR has been pushed back or anything ridiculous like that. At least we can look forward to more letters on Wednesday (I hope!!). Have a good week ladies!

Yes, this really blows!! We are one day closer! Only 5 weeks left. Were a few days away from being half way through! Midrash- I really hope that 1 year deployment doesn't happen to any of us. That is REALLY tough! I have never heard of anyone in the Navy not being able to write or talk for that long. They all say BC is the hardest part of the Navy. I hope they're right :|

I'm guessing there is an inspection that they did not pass. :(

I'm going to make a desperate run for chocolate. I'm in crisis mode and only chocolate will do!
