My son's PIR is 10/31/14. Would love to chat with other moms that have kids in Div 821.

I have never been one to be tied to my cell phone but I have been carrying it around with me everywhere, including the bathroom since yesterday, just in case.

I'm with ya, Wisconsin Mom. Charging all of my phones right now. I have them all laid out in a line... LOL!. Not sure which one he is going to call. I hope everything went well at inspections. Sending hopeful hugs to all our boys and all you moms! Hope everyone has a peaceful night. ♥

I'm planning my day with my phone hehe. I don't think I'll be going too far from the front door.

so girls..who's going to be glued to their phones tomorrow? Sad to say that I've decided to stay in the house so that I don't miss a possible phone call. My dilemma is wondering how far I can go into the backyard before the cordless doesn't work? I've made sure the ringer volume is on high. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Aulani- hahaha, maui kanak! love it! my husband is 100% filipino but thinks he is 100% hawaiian because he goes everywhere barefoot too! hahaha. damn maui boys! I think I went to school with your son for a little while actually :)

Jeni- My husband told me about the time they got into trouble while eating. It wasn't him playing the staring game, but he did mention all the punishments they had to do LOL poor guys.

Thanks for sharing, Jeni. I absolutely loved hearing that..(not the physical exercise and getting yelled at, of course!) It is reassuring to know that even through all of their hardships, they have kept their sense of humor!

Latest from my boyfriend- In the galley they have apparently started playing the staring game since they can't talk!

" I was playing the staring game with my buddy and it was going on for a while, we had about 15 spectators watching the duel, so we started eating and drinking while still staring and I went to grab my milk and knocked it over onto the guy across from me. Everyone that had been watching started laughing super hard. Keep in mind there is no talking in the galley and there sure as hell no laughing at boot camp period so obviously chief heard us and we got to do every kind of physically difficult activity while being yelled at."
