We're pretty quiet this weekend. Everyone must be packing..?.I went shopping w/my daughters and we found my oldest her Homecoming dress. I haven't seen her in a dress since First Communion (and that was only as long as the service lasted). My tomboy has grown up into a beautiful young lady. My house has been one of change this past summer. And to think, in just a few days, we'll have Sailors to greet!!!

Hey! Just checking in and seeing how all of you are doing! Any news from your recruits? They will all be sailors in less than 48 hours!! How exciting!! I'll be leaving in 2 days. Definitely can't wait for that. And I am so happy to finally say that I will be seeing my SR THIS WEEK! Never thought this week would come 8-9 weeks ago! Hope everything is going well with all of you. Take care ladies :)

Lydia-thanks for the reminder that as supporters of SR that are about to become spec ops that we need to have faith in their abilities.

Think about all they have been through ladies. What we have been through is nothing compared to that. We need have faith that Div 821 will KICK IT during BS and be the tough division that they are and finish strong.

Seeing the post on PIR 10/1/10 about hearing Div 821 coming from a long way off did wonders for my moral!!

MelGal- will send prayers your way. I don't have a blue candle but we did purchase a blue light bulb and I have it in my outside light above the front door. I plan on keeping it on until I get the call that he passed BS. I've had folks in the neighborhood ask me why I have a blue light and I'm proud to tell them its in support of my SR!

MelGal- I am so very sorry to hear about all that is happening on your end. I will keep your boss and parents in my prayers and pray that everything gets better by the time PIR comes around so you can go and enjoy your weekend with your SR and his friends.

Lydia- Thanks for the uplift. Our boot camp journey is almost over and we should all be excited more than worried! I am so anxious to hear about those BS phone calls coming in today from the other DIV and my SR isn't even in that DIV! I can only imagine how I'll be feeling when it's our turn!!

As soon as this weekend is over navy mom's/wives, we will be on the home stretch and everything will be nice and smooth! As soon as BS is done, most of us will be on our way to GL and forget all about waiting around!! I know we will be loud and proud at PIR!!!!!!!!!!
