Captains cup is like a field day competition for all of the divisions. They could earn a flag and a phone call!

I wrote my son a nice little letter to let him know I am still his mom and nicely gave him some advice. He has got to get rid of that bad attitude towards the other guys. He is very smart, but anyone who doesnt think like him, he swears is dumb. He is going to have to realize that everyone is gifted and reveals it in different ways. I hope he isnt mad at me, but I guess he will always know that I am mom.

I havent heard anything, My son is not a sports fan and said he isnt interested in talking to the other guys cause he is spending his time studying instead of trying to get to know anyone. He has always had female friends and actually gets along with the girls better than the guys. Therefore he said he isnt there to make "friends". Like I said, Im going to have to talk to him about that since they need to be friends to come together like a team. Besides, when they get out on a boat and especially if they go to war (God forbid) they will have to rely on each other like brothers....

dang. Colleen it sure does seem that when it rains it pours! Hope that back doesnt give you too much trouble. Be glad your pains are accidental! on a funny note, my 60 year old mother went to the Dr with aches and pains and was severely hoping they didnt tell her that her troubles were just from getting old! I was tickled when my mother told me that!

Wow, so much has happened since Friday. I had to go out of town unexpectedly and oh how I missed you all. I was unable to get to the computer daily and I truly missed all of your support.
Colleen, I am glad your Dr appt went well and hope you feel much better. My son is very religious, therefore I would not be surprised if he was in your sons prayer group, although he hasnt said so.

Roxy, My son told me about his job at graduation several weeks into bootcamp. He will be holding one of the flags, but doesnt know which flag yet.

Monica, I am truly sorry to hear about your moms passing and the issues you and your son have to deal with related to her passing. I will keep you in my prayers.

My son also told me that they would all march in together and be recognized together before they all disperse. As you all know the 900 divisions will not stand all together for the whole time as they will be dispersed throughout the building, but we will be and are so wonderfully proud of our young men and everything they have accomplished! Since we will all be staying at the Ramada, maybe we can all meet at some point with our sons. I would like to thank your sons and congratulate each one of them individually.
