Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

on there last call mike got 2 calls so hopefully they will get 2 again even thoughi am home this time. what is taking so long he should have told me 4-5 not 12-5 this is gonna give me an ulser. any calls yet

oh geez, do they only get one call?? I really hope Jake calls me instead of his dad =/ I know it's terrible, but his dad talked to him a cpl wks ago and I havent since the first night up there =( I know he wants to talk to me--he leaves the longest voicemails of anyone I know! lol

Dusty's Mom--Very happy you only missed all of the stress we've been feeling today. Got to thinking that you might be the lucky one because at least for a little while, you "escaped" from this madness...assumes you had some kind of anesthesia.

thats cool so we both are stay at home wifes im on here all the time. i think im about to cry right now. the waiting is killing every nerve i have.

Dusty's mom--so glad you came thru surgery and didnt miss the call!! Everything happens for a reason =)
I am afraid all the anticipation is gonna cause me to scream when he finally does call!! ( or burst into tears haha) he's gonna think I have lost my mind! lol

yes, glad it has waited for you, Dusty's mom. We have been having enough anxiety now, haven't we. Is this N4M patience training, ahhh. And I am at home on unemployment atm. Waiting to move with my man, actually....

i just read my last post...here? haha *hear* the waiting is affecting my spelling haha--being at work I should be focused and productive and I feel like I can't sit still!!
