No, I would never expect anyone to give me the password, just needed direction on where to call to see about getting it! Luckily, I was able to get in touch with the Public Affairs office this morning and they reassured me that since I am not driving on the base at all, I will NOT need the parking pass. Jake will be able to return to the base with his ID.
Whew! Problem solved! Thank you, ladies for your input and generous support!!
I am soooooo excited about seeing my sweet boy!!! ONE MORE WEEK!!!! YAY!!!!

Just got letter from my son and he said tonight @ 2030 they go to the Battlestations building and commence that and around 0800 in the morning it should be over and they will get their Navy ballcaps. He mentioned he should be calling in the afternoon sometime. Hope that helps a little knowing their schedule, of course he wrote this on Sunday so hopefully nothing has changed. Sooo nervous and excited for them to get through this and get to next week. Hard to believe it is almost here. Hugs and prayers to everybody and for everybody!!!

Rames! Welcome and HOOYAH for BattleStations 21 TODAY ( or tonight). We are all crazy with anticipation for our "I'm a Sailor" call tomorrow sometime. Don't feel bad about just getting here... I just found this wonderful support group about 4 days ago. I might have saved money on future therapy sessions if I would have been here earlier but... better late than never. I didn't order a pin, although I think they are awesome, but I am getting a ribbon to wear hopefully if Jackie has time. I think she is at the vet today.... as if she doesn't have enough going on.
