FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We printed our boarding passes today, too. Now it's just a matter of time...

Dusty's Mom--Our recruit's grad gift is a watch and here's the URL to the one we purchased. http://www.usnavysealstore.com/products.asp?product=6944. After a fair amount of research we found this one that is Navy approved AND this was the best price. There are other face colors if you don't care for white.

i sent it to you dusty's mom. i bought my hubby a new wedding ring expecially since he has lost 2 i got a cheap one so it doesnt matter if he looses it.

that is ok do you need a ribbon made? i am making brown ribbons for all who want one. http://www.stockpins.com/anchor-lapel-pin.html this is the pins everyone who has a ribbon who has ordered one. but i can also bring safety pins if there is not enough time.
let me know and if you do want one i need to know your sailors last name.

i havent heard from mike about it either. dont worry it will all work out.
boymom3-you know i will be there with bells on. its getting so close. im so excited. the kids wont stop talking about it although their teachers dont approve. oh well they will get over it. so our plans changed instead of leaving out at 2400 hours we are leaving out at 2000 hours ok i think that means 8;00 if im right. ive been practicing. but noone ever checks it. hehehe. so how is everyone doing? havent heard to much about anyone lately i guess its the same for our recruits. no news is good news.

It was a busy weekend on our end...mostly shopping for a graduation gift and new luggage. I'm actually looking forward to work tomorrow so I can rest!

Boymom3--We haven't heard from our recruit, but he should have received our letter by now. Hopefully he will connect with your son and work out sharing his spare tickets.
