Do you know where your guys are attending A school. I got a call from my son last night because he got an empty envelope from me in the mail and you guessed it I had sent his debit card and check blanks, so they let him call and inform me he did not receive them. Anyway, he was supposed to go to FL and now they told him he is going to Biloxi, MS. Anybody else headed there. He sounded a little bummed because earlier he told me most of the guys were headed to FL. So, I don't know why the change. I am sure they have their reasons.

imparis I am so sorry to hear of the punishment. It just makes my heart hurt so bad for your son and you to have found that out. This is so hard on everybody and those poor guys trying their best to adjust to all of this. I know I will not understand their ways, but I know when they are done what awesome sailors they will be.Maybe it was an isolated deal, lets hope. I will say an extra prayer for him tonight and for you too. Hang in there 1/2 way there and we know there is an end to this awful part of it! Try to get a good nights sleep and know we are a day closer to PIR. Goodnight.

Thanks Pround2bbvmom for finding me I looked last night for hours looking for any one in this div but did not see anything. This has been a long month for me and the next will be even longer. My son says they can wirte during red light and Sundays only. They have no time but this week is hell week and told me not to except much. He already got in trouble one day a few days before the got his teeth pulled and they told him that this week would be worse. I thought they just made him do a lot of push up and found out through a family member he got kicked and punched as a punishment. It made me cry. Any one else heard of this. The recuiter did not say anything about this. I grew up in a Navy family and my dad said there is no reason to hit anyone unless you are protecting someone weaker. Now my son has to take that. Sorry just needed to talk to someone. He said he is in a good group of guys who seem to work well together so I am glad for that. He said he has made a few friends but has not given any names. Well god bless the boys and their moms.

Hi, I just returned from my dad's after staying with him 1 week. I did get to talk to my son, he called his grandpa's(I wrote and told him I would be there). It was wonderful to hear his voice and I knew we did not have long so I did not even cry. I actually talked to him on Weds. the 28th. We kept it short and sweet because he also wanted to talk to his dad. He sounded well, busy, but definitely getting into the routine of things. His friend ships out Tues. we are going to go see him. I think it will feel like my son leaving all over again. I hope I can help this boy's mom. But that also means one month down one to go.

Here you guys are I have been looking everywhere for you. I saw my son ship # and Div and then all of a sudden it was gone. Things move really fast on this site. Anyway, I am excited to see you guys. How is it going? Letters yet, phone calls? This is the hardest thing I have ever gone through! I can't wait until they graduate!!!
