FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

here is jackie just got home from church and in laws have to be a good granddaughter in law they gave me 500 dollars for my trip no but really i see them every sunday after church. they are in their 80's and great grandchildren make them happy. oh well gladto see all of you in here. thanks for worring about me

Ah cool! a big HOOYAH for the "across the street" boys! I hope we go to CA too, that is where i grew up and we had our honeymoon in Monterey. Hwy 1, Carmel, fisherman's Warf, They have a big Naval place there and I am not sure what exactly, but San Diego would be beautiful too. Where in the heck is Jackie?

Jackie--I got the text about your missed call =( I am so sorry sweetheart!
Man, today has been rough, I got a few things done but overall just felt really sick all day--blah!
Jake finally got to talk to his sister!! She said they were both ecstatic on the phone and just talked for a very long time--yesterday he left her a voicemail that said, "you may be the worst twin sister EVER--ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!" hahaha

my kids can make naybody never want kids they are BAD.
any ways i missed a call from mike today kinda sucks.
i told him call my cell gave him my new number the dummy called the house.

Wow......... God Bless James Swink's family.......... that one hit home since Tobias is a corpsman and wants to go to Afghanistan.....just the beginning of many gut checks. Goes with the life we have chosen. Glad to see I am not the only one spinning in circles Jane! and Jackie, any time in the next 20 years or so, if you ever need somebody to watch the kids.... just give me a days notice : ))

me too, packing......... kinda hard with my dog glued to the side of my leg, hehe. They are so smart.
