It's kinda like a yearbook. It has pictures of all the sailors in 313 but also 312. It also has pictures of some of their activities. Getting haircuts, vaccinations, getting their clothing and stuff like that. A little history of Great Lakes. I wasn't expecting it, I thought the package was the DVD of PIR. Have any of you gotten the DVD yet?

Hi Ladies, I received Ethan's Keel book today. It is interesting to see some of the pictures. Some are serious and there were even a few that were funny. I didn't realize what a chore it is just to dress all these sailors.lol You all have a wonderful day!

That's a good idea. Besides allergies, I think they all just keep passing it among themselves.

He's sick again? A lot of good all those shots did, huh? I bet this cold weather hasn't helped. They have PT outside in it.

I will definitely give Josh big hugs for you this weekend, Tammy. Poor guy is going to experience a long winter though which he's not used to. Wade is getting excited about us coming this weekend. We are going to be so cold - it is supposed to be in the 40's. They haven't been able to leave the base on weekends yet and they are getting cabin fever. He had duty all weekend which helped keep him busy. They hopefully will go into Phase II this week and can get off base some before the snow hits.

Ethan started A school yesterday and they made him Class Leader. I am so proud of him. He should graduate by Nov 19th. I'm going to try to go see him in a couple weeks. I miss him alot. The 3 hours in Chicago wasn't enough. I'm just glad he has his phone.

Tamme, I'll pray for the sailor's sister. It sounds like an emergency to me.

Angie, Wade is homesick as well. It was harder for him after he came home for his sister's wedding. We are going to fly out to take his twin brother out next weekend to share their birthday. Tell him Wade and his roommates seem to hang out at the bowling alley on the weekends they don't have duty and he is meeting a lot of people. I know there are a few of them from 313 together in classes. I didn't realize some of them hadn't classed up yet. Wade asked me to pray for one of their fellow 313 guys that is in Corpsman school with him - his sister has a brain tumor and he is trying to get liberty to go home for the surgery. The Red Cross told him it wasn't considered an emergency.

Ethan starts A school today. Yea!!!! His projected graduation date is Nov. 19th. He says that he'll have PT at 4am 3 days a week. Hopefully we can go visit him soon. He wants to get settled in school so hopefully in 2 weeks I will see my son.

Hi everyone! I miss communicating with all of you. It has been so busy. Wade is doing well at Corpsman School and we are going to take his twin brother out to visit in a couple of weeks for their birthday. We are excited we will be able to see the base this time. Also we are anxiously awaiting for his next base assignment following school. Take care and I'll write more soon.
