Just checking in with all you wonderful ladies! How are our kids doing? Where is everyone at? Anyone engaged, married or parents since they left for boot camp two years ago?

Chris that is great that he gets to visit often. Wow SEALS, that is great. I hope he gets his call soon!  Ethan gets to come home on the 14th. He has a court date on the 16th to try to get a tempory visitation order so that he can see Addie and so she can come here so that they can Skype. Addie and I went to San Diego last month and saw his ship come back from deployment! It was wonderful to see him, it had been 8 months. I excited to spend more time with him but mostly for him to spend time with Addie!

Thanks Tammy! It is supposed to hit anytime but I've been listening online to a Hawaii station and so far nothing.

Yea Anna!!! Fatten him up and he will be as good as new. There is nothing like home cooking to make a body good! I'm so glad for you and your family for this time together!

Ethan isn't back yet but I will be in San Diego and I found out today that Addie WILL be with me when I go! I am so excited for them! They haven't seen each other since July! Ethan will be so surprised at what a big girl she is now! lol

Tamme, I bet they are! We are supposed to be getting a bad storm starting tonight and they have already canceled stuff and shut down office buildings in Oklahoma City tomorrow anticipating that it will be bad. We don't get much snow and I like that just fine. The cold is bad enough. Your boys are sick of winter and mine is sick of water. lol

That will be so nice to be able to see Ethan come in.  I pray Addie is able to go with you.  Willie graduated from boot on January 14 and still there for A-school.  Wade and Willie are both tired of winter!

How great that Daniel is home and Chris is on his way! I can only imagine the stories they will have to share!

Ethan will be back on US soil in March!! I am going to San Diego to meet the ship when it gets in. I am hoping that Addie can go but that is up to her mom. Please pray for her to have a generous heart. Ethan won't be coming back to Oklahoma until April. I am so excited! It is like Christmas for a 5 year old!!!

Congrats to Wade also! I think our boys are the cream of the crop!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and keep us posted on what our 313 guys are up to!

Sorry I haven't been in touch.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.  We flew out to Chicago to see Willie for Christmas.  It was so nice to be able to see him in the middle of the long boot camp.  He graduates next Friday, January 14, if all goes well.  So far so good.  He looks fantastic and, of course, so ready to get out.  I have had all of 313 in my prayers.  Wade is home this week and we've been talking about all of the guys and where they are stationed and deployed.  Take care and I'll keep you posted on our new Sailor.

Ethan's squadron loved the pillowcases. I ended up making 279! I hope everyone has had a great holiday season!

Ethan is on the downhill slide of his deployment. They are halfway done. He sent an email that told me he was in Dubai at Christmas and that he went sandsurfing, rode a camel, went riding thru the desert in a SUV and went snowboarding in the largest mall in the middle of the desert. haha  I am so glad that he got to have some fun at Christmas being away from Addie and all of us. He was named Bluejacket of the month for November and I just found out that he was named for December as well. I am so proud of him.

Has Willie, graduated yet? I have been thinking about all you ladies and saying prayers for our sons! I hope you were all able to spend time with them or at least talk to them over Christmas! Please keep us posted on how everyone is doing!

Hugs

Kim

That is wonderful of you, Kim. They will definitely appreciate the pillowcases! Our office collected items and sent off five full boxes of items to a Marine in Afghanistan. I know he is going to be so surprised. Hopefully they don't move him any time soon though. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
