Hi gals...I have been reading all day to see if the calls have come yet...I work at school...I can read but I can't comment as it is blocked...Tamme sorry to hear about Wade....continjued prayers for healing and restoration to his body especially his lungs.

my son will also stay in GL be a corpsman.

As far as sickness... almost everybody gets sick...they call it "ricky crud"...it just what happens when you have that many people comming from all over the US and bring with them all their "crud" and in close quarters all the time. Some get it worse than others and it is usually the respitory infections.

With my first sailor we didn't ge the call until after 4 pm soooooo hopefully anytime now!!!!

I think they've all been sick with the cold the whole time. I am really relieved to hear they have been giving him antibiotics. Thanks to all of you and CONGRATS!

I'm glad they are taking good care of him. Our prayers are still with Wade and hiis healing. Thanks for letting us know about the BS. I knew they would do great!

Wade just called. He still has a fever and has Bronchitis. He is now going to go to BS next Tuesday! (My husband is freaking out). He said he will still graduate with 313 though. I believe he said he was now going with Division 347 or something like that. I asked him about 313 and he said the Chief came to see him and said 313 went through with flying colors. I probably shouldn't tell you guys but I know you are all dying to know. So stand by those phones, ladies. Do you think they make them wind down from the experience before they can call?

Anyway, I was able to tell Wade that Jordan had passed the running test and was going to BS tonight. He was so glad to hear that and said that he agreed Jordan had lost a lot of weight. He said he looks great. Josh had been really sick as well but he was able to go to BS. Wade had passed out on the drill floor on Sunday and hit his chin. They sent him to the hospital and that is when they found out he had a high fever. He said he needs to shake the fever and giving him to next Tuesday will help with curing the Bronchitis. They are treating him with antibiotics which I am pleased to hear.

I really am pleased that the Navy has been letting him call us.

I agree, Tammy. Although I hurt for him that he couldn't go to BS with 313, I just LOVED hearing his voice.

It is driving me crazy for you! I keep hoping one of you will say - Got the call!

Speaking of, my nieces boyfriend who is in the Navy said that probably what Wade said was first stage Asmode (spelling?). Anyone know what that means? I'm relieved it didn't mean first stage asthma. I tried to put it in the definition box but it doesn't find it.

CONGRATULATIONS, Loree. I knew he'd do it. I sure hope Wade gets there with Jordan tonight. It sounds like he may get to call me to tell me. I'll keep you posted.
