I totally agree. I couldn't sleep last night and I think it was because I know this is their final step with Battle Stations starting. That way I couldn't rest, I was wondering if they started this morning at 2:00! I ditto the thoughts on all the support we have been able to provide each other. Can't wait to meet you all next week. Eight weeks today since they arrived at Great Lakes but I feel like I've know all of you forever. Thanks so much.

Anna, you're so right. Thanks for the laugh this morning.

We must all be connected for sure because when I walked out our front door and saw my son's car this morning on the way to my mail box to put his letter in, I looked at our car that he always drove and missed seeing him behind the wheel blasting the radio. I believe Battle Stations are this week, or at least I hope so. It is going to be a long week until Thursday to get a letter about last week and what's coming this week.

No phone call here since August 5. I was just as disappointed for us as I am for the Division. Wade said their RDL told them if they beat Division 312 this week that they would earn the same liberty privileges 312 was given last week. My heart aches enough but even more for them. My future son-in-law who is in the Coast Guard told me last night though that that same thing happened to him in boot camp and it is the RDLs. He said his division excelled in everything and never got any privileges while their brother division got all the privileges. I am not going to open up the 9/11 blogs and I know this pit in my stomach is going to explode if other divisions got to call. But the good news ladies - 11 days until we see our Sailors.

I got my letter today from Ethan, He said the same thing about what's going on this week, gas chamber and firefighting. He asked for me to pray really hard. He knows I pray for him he just wanted extra support. He said that when they did the PFA he had gained 10 pounds lol He tried all thru high school to gain. He was a baseball player all his school days from little league thru high school.
Two weeks before we leave. I'm getting anxious.

Wade said in last week's letter that we won't recognize him because he has gotten bigger. It made us laugh because when we talked to him on the phone three weeks ago, he said he gained seven or eight pounds. He only weighed about 112 when he went in. Skinny as a rail.

That's what I'm assuming.
