OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Anna, thanks so much for the PIR seats. My daughter is so relieved that she will be able to get in now since Wade could only list four names.

No phone call but finally got another letter today. Sounds like they have been very busy with inspections and tests. He closed the letter with talk to you soon but didn't elaborate.

Thanks, Loree. Pictures - I can't wait! Wade had mentioned in last week's letter that they had their second hair cut but they only cut the sides so it is a high and tight.

I guess the same is true for over here in South Carolina. Something to look forward to tomorrow!

So glad you got a letter, Deanna. By the way, did you see our discussion above about the meet and greet we are having for just our division? Hope you can join us. Can't wait to meet you.

That's great, Loree. Did Jordan give any light as to what they are doing this week? Maybe there is hope for you when you get home, Tammy

Anna, I'm so happy for you. I called home and we didn't get one today.
