Will be praying for Daniel also, Anna! Ethan won't be home for Christmas again this year. I sent his Christmas to him last week and am hoping that it reaches him by Christmas. I have made and am sending over 275 pillowcases for his squadron for Christmas. I would love to send your any of your sons pillowcases if you would like me to. Just let me know. It's a little bit of home :)

It is really great having that both together this week. We worked with Willie last night on memorizing the A-Z alpha codes and ranks. Wade also seems to share so much more of his boot camp experience now. He again reminded me not to say so much on this site. LOL Remember, I got him in trouble for writing every day.

Great story to share - Wade got home around midnight Monday night. He saved a man's life while waiting for his flight in the Charlotte Airport. An older man grabbed his arm and dropped down and people started yelling and a siren went off. I guess someone opened an emergency door just so they could get quick emergency attention. Wade ran over to see what was going on and saw the man on the ground. He told them he was a Navy Corpsman and he and an older woman started doing CPR. An airport employee brought over the defibrillator but didn't know how to hook it up. Fortunately Wade did so he jumped the man and he started gasping for breathe. EMS arrived and then Wade was being paged to get on his flight so he had to take off. He said everything was instinct but he'll never get over the man laying there with his eyes open the whole time but nothing behind them. He so wishes he had a way to make sure the man is still okay. I'm so proud of his Navy training and had to share with all of you.

Tamme, enjoy Wade while he's home. It's good he and Willie can spend some time together before BC. How proud you must be of them both :)

Wade's home! I just couldn't stop thinking of all of you last night as I awaited his arrival and thought about only 14 days until Willie goes to boot.

Willie says when he finishes boot, he will stay in GL for another year for school. At least we know he won't be a grad and go. He is going to have a long winter.

Oh, that's right. I forgot San Diego is just his school. That will be great if they are both based in Virginia.

Will Josh still be in San Diego at that time? I was hoping Eric was coming to Beaufort but I had a feeling he would go to San Diego. Three months will be very long.

Tammy, thanks for the update on Josh. Wade said he left a Facebook message but hadn't heard back yet. I told him he was home for a week. Willie leaves 11/15 and Wade is coming home November 1 so he can see him before he leaves. I am dreading this again but at least know more about what he'll be doing. I am so worried about January travel to Chicago though. I pray we all have a mild winter. Where will Eric go to boot camp?
