I bet they were signing all kinds of music. Poor Christopher though to put up with a bunch of "kids."

Wendy and I talked for a long time last night. They need all of our support and prayers and I thank God she has all of us.

Oh, I forgot to tell you - Josh is going to Church with Wade.

Wade is carrying the division flag and said in his letter that he has to do "all these moves" and can't wait for us to see them at graduation. I sent pictures of all the boys on this site and Wade loved it. He said he knew them all.

TammyP, the similarities amaze me. Wade worked at Piggly Piggly through high school as a cashier.

TammyP, the letters we received from Wade Friday were great. He and Josh are very close and they have been enjoying singing in their bunks. He said "mostly country songs of course."

Totally agree, TWsMom. I can't wait to tell my son we now have you in our group. Wade is the division flag carrier and his letters on Friday said he can't wait to show us the special moves he has to make.

They can use their cell phone when they are not on base after PIR like the hotel etc. but they CAN NOT take it back with them..They can't have any electronics until they are in their A-School. When my first sailor graduated we brought his cell phone and lap top with us he used it in the hotel and when we were on the road..but as soon as he headed back to the base it couldn't use or have it...Also when they are in uniform and in public places they are are not suppose to "talk and walk"..they have to stop and step the side if their phone rings to talk.

Not 100% sure but I know that some have but I would actually wait and see what your sailor says...Usually it is not untill they get to there A school that they can have them but this is a different situation being a grad and go...I do know of a couple of people who did give it to their sailor at the airport...just check with your sailor.
Comment by AngiePNMx2 on August 9, 2009 at 6:05pm
Leah...you can not take them to the airport the group will ride a bus to the airport but you can go to the airport and sit with them until they leave.
