Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Everyone! Well its 10:40am in CA so mail has not come yet. I will be seriously stalking in about an hour and a half. Tanya wow how wonderful for you! Five? geesh he must have been an angle to get that much time to write. I was thinking if they like to make our guys write essays for plunishment why not make them write a 3 page detailed letter to their moms instead? And who made up this rule about limiting their time to write us by behavior, couldn't have been a mom! Oh well I still wnat ot make the rules its a mom thing lol Well luv and hugs to all and see ya later.......

Billie a lot of us are staying at the homewood suites they have a Navy discount as do a lot of the places, others are staying at the Residence Inn, Navy Lodge etc. If you read thru the eairlier pages there are prices we have found, and shuttle busses. I have to get back to work but will help ya later when I can get back. And yes it does take a while to weed thru all this stuff but like a lot of us we learn as we go. You have a good day and again Welcome! Janeen

Evening Ladies, Billie so glad you joined us Welcome! Tiffany I am feeling for you I have been in that simular situation with two of my kids. Its like your so mixed with emotions I wanted to pop them upside the head, then kiss it to make it better, like do you have any idea what your got yourself into? I was a mom at 18 so I know how hard it can be, I want them to make better choices and a lot less mistakes than we did. But let me tell you what a blessing that baby will be! Vent all you want thats what we are here for.
