Welcome to our new group members!!
Ohiomom, my daughters boyfriend left for Great Lakes today and he will also be in sub school in Grotan, he was told he'd be there for a year. Right now they live in Enfield CT so it'll only be an hour farther.
Chris, Jenn and Jacob just moved from Jax to VA. He will still be ordering plane parts and Jenn will now be on a Carrier, they just found out she's deploying in June:( And Chris is proudly stepping into the Daddy/Mommy role like Jenn did last year
Navygirliesmom, Lynda n is quite right, your daughter could go anywhere:)
My daughter is going to A school for logistics, any idea of probable places she will be stationed?
Congrats to you Ohiomom1292 - I'm glad to see that you have now found this group too! I hope you had a great time at PIR!
Hello! New to this group my son just had PIR on 4/13 and is now in Meridian for LS school then he heads to Groton for sub school. Exciting times for him! He actually doesn't start school until next week.
Welcome to the group Linda! Will your son be an LS on a sub?
Welcome Joann! From what I understood it was self paced, some were there longer than others. My son was there from 10/8 - 11/26/11, he then took leave and came home for 10 day before going to his first duty station. We had hope that it would work out that he was on for either Thanksgiving or Christmas but maybe next year!
