Lynda - I'm glad Aaron went to the hospital when he was told, hold he gets out of the hospital today and gets the well needed rest he will need to get well.

Thanks Lynda N, I talked to him Friday evening and he is on the Frigate now.  They will be going out sometime this spring.  He sent me a picture text on Saturday, had gone with other LS's snowboarding about 2 hrs away.  Even though we are from Ohio it's something he had never done before but he loved it!

A week & half went pretty fast for this Mom, it was so good to have our son home for this short time, celebrate a late Thanksgiving and then an early Christmas.  I was so proud to walk with him in the airport today with him in his dress blues on the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.  He's off to his first duty station, so ready to get busy & learn more.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you all did too!

And being in the retail world I have no choice but to enjoy the season because if I didn't I would be carzier than I really am haha

Kathleen, not sure about the cold as Chris is on an Airbase (and right now in Qatar which I'm sure is pretty warm LOL) But I'm sure this time of year it's pretty chilly i in Washington.

And I did not hear from chris on Thanksgiving :(    But that is ok with me because I will be with him in a very short time (shhhh I cannot tell you exactly when) but I will tell you when it happens (yay!!!)

No holidays with our son this year.  We did skype on Thanksgiving Day and he finally got here Saturday evening, he will be home for a week & a half before he takes off for San Diego.  It is great to see him.  We are going to celebrate an early Christmas on Sunday since we also have a daughter who won't be home for Christmas this year either.
