Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I am already thing about the cell phone situation.....hes coming home fri for leave so we will have much to talk about. Can't wait to see him!!! Lisa no passport yet will have to work on that, whos in for a road trip to Japan with me?? LOL

well its official my son is going to japan in march.....he will on the MCM1 avenger.

I'm kinda sad and happy at the same time.....happy for him to experience japan but   sad cuz I think I wont see him for 2 years.

he put in for sasebo and probably wont hear till nov.....I'm happy hes coming home

for leave on the 9th cant wait to smack him upside the head for putting orders in for Japan...just kidding . Lisa i know why your confused hes was on the IKE for a short det and came into JAX.

My brother was also in Japan in the 70's he was a Marine. But he too loved it and resigned so he could go back:)

No Lisa hes at NAS Lemoore.  I feel bad that the mail is screwed up, hopefully he will get it soon. lynda i'm sure jason will enjoy japan if he goes, and its something

he would have never gotten to see otherwise your right on that. I just have a feeling we wont see him for 2 years. Because he wants to go so bad he probably wont get to go there......lynda was your son is Saeabo??

So the military screwed up and all Chris's mail is going to Qatar instead of Djbouti (or however the hell you spell them) I just mailed him a pkg and Jennifer did 2!! She said he will eventually get them but who knows when? And my hubby is mad cause it took all his willpower to stay out of the whoopie pies I was putting in the box and now they're gonna rot in the mail LOL (quote unquote)
But on a happier note Chris said they might be moving to VA which would be awsome!! He said its because Jacob wants to be closer to "Grammy"
And Becky Japan is very far away but both Chris and Jennifer HATE Jax!! Isn't Jason assigned to a ship?

Awww Lisa I'm already tearing up....Jason opted for orders to Japan instead of JAX....not sure how I feel about that.....lol waiting to hear if hes going there or not.

I feel bad Alexandria has to go thru that again...  Sailor mom any news from your sailor??
