Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Also Becky as for Chris? He should come back the end of nov or early dec. Which I am doing my best to be there, I get teary just thinking of watching them all getting off the plane! And if I have the extra$$$ I will take Arianna (my 1st gd) she's 6 and when sh first started talking she couldn't say uncle she called him Coco Chris and still does:). So tear up now when you picture her holding her sign saying "Welcome Home Coco Chris"

Sorry, I'm really not ignoring you but I hate using my phone to make comments on this site (or at all for that matter)
Welcome sailor2011, your daughter is lucky to be an LS, she'll love it!
And Lynda, lucky you to be able to see your son! Enjoy every minute, I'm very envious:(
Becky, sooo sorry I never got back to you, sometimes I don't get notices of postsm but the grandbabies are ALL well. Although Alexandria (the penny swallower lol) turned 2 the other day and went to the dr and she needs the throat stretching procedure again. Hopefully it'll be the last time. The other 11 are great haha!!!

Hi Becky! That is too bad Chris wasn't there to meet your son! And Chris and Jen both do not like it there for a lot of reasons but one is they can't stand the ignorant prople that are there, drives them crazy..... Chris isn't in Qatar anymore, they've sent him back to Africa where he was last dep, I guess he is needed there more than the other but like he said it'll make the time go by faster not staying put and being crazy busy.
Lynda, happy for your son, that is one giant step for sure!!!

hi all havent been on in awhile hope all is well. lynda great news for you son on buying a house....he should save me a room for when I visit.lol Lisa to bad your ons not in Jax now. My son was on a short det and boat pulled into there today. They could have hung out....is it bad in jax I have heard some bad things??? Hope everyone else is enjoying summer.
