Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Becky one can hope for sure:). And I have a set of Irish twins myself, Chris's older sisters are a year apart and due on the same day but the second ond decided to stay in the oven an extra two weeks, Chris came two years and two weeks later so all three had each other for friends growing up. What are you doing, teaching summer school?

Thanks Lisa....:)  Im going to be working an extra 5 weeks at school for the summer so my mind will be busy.They are my Irish twins only a year apart, and use to be closer when the were younger . I thought it was nice of him to want to do that for her too since they are now starting to lead seperate lives. Im hoping its a secret plot to trick me and he will be home LOL one can hope....:)

ok you two i got the point about complaining the heat....LOL I guess i dont have it so bad. my prayers go out always to everyone serving in that heat. lynda glad you son is on his way home!!! YAY. heard from my son tonite and he is not going to be able to come home in july....hes going to the boat for a bit. he was going to surprise his sister for her 21 st bd. im a little dissapointed i'll get over it. Donna good to hear from you was hoping you were ok. good for your son!!

Lisa  hes just worried about getting a bed right now....lol hope everyone stays well.

Lynda I am sooo not complaining about the heat, that is lil miss BeckyM lol. And Chris is also dealing with it he's in Qutar (sp?). And is also like 120 lol

I'm not sure but I think no is the answer and they can't get weekend passes either I believe. I know its hard but he'll be done before you know it:)

Becky I can't believe you're complaining about the heat after the long cold winter, at least wait til July lol. All is well here, Chris is gone almost 2 weeks and poor Jennifer is counting the days so fast she's a week ahead of herself. We took .Arianna (our oldest g'daughter) fishing in the lil boat this wknd and omg how cute she was keeping "score" to how many fish we caught. Good to hear your son is off base but funny the things they don't think of, did he clean you out for extra silverware?

hi all, I'm here Lisa....:) just trying to stay cool, its so stinking hot here I cant take it!!!  Jas' BAH was approved so he moved into a house with some other sailors over the weekend. He didnt realize all the stuff you need to live off base. DUH I could have told him that !!! LOL  Lucy LS is a self paced progam. Lynda how cool is that. How is everyone else doing???
