Hi everyone! My husband will be going to A-School in Meridian for LS after his PIR on 6/10. Anyone have a recently graduated sailor who was Grad & Go? I have a feeling my husband might be :-/

Bailey join the Meridan group....probably lots of help there for you. When mine was there in 09 hes was waiting a long time to start class. Many people were not done yet. He was bored to death so when he finally did start he finished quick to get out of Meridan. He graduated and was home the same nite on leave which was good!!!

It helped me when my son was there. Lisa way to go spoiled that baby!!!!  You dont get to see he enough so its ok to do that!!! :) Lynda has your son moved to his new duty station yet???

Bailey it's a self taught program, I don't remember how long Chris was there but he was pretty sick when he arrived then they pulled his wisdom teeth so he was delayed. So I guess all I can say is its self taught lol

PIR was amazing! Ive been to chicago before but it was still great to see the sites again and the best was spending time with my sailor! Now he's in Meridian and the communication is MUCH better. Hes just really confused on how long its going to take him, anyone know ore about this? They said the least it could be was 5 weeks but then another person said he could take night classes, and a lot of you have said it can be as little as two weeks.

Thanks Becky!! The new baby is very cute and so tiny compared to Jacob and yes I spoiled him rotten, Chris and Jen spent a night in Maine and left him with me:). We did have a great visit. Sadly Chris leaves in a short while for deployment. I will post pics as soon as I get reg internet back. And how have you been?
