FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi LS friends! My husband left for boot camp last week - I'm curious to learn more about what he'll experience in Meridian. Any details you can give me are much appreciated! :)

Yes, ive hear only positive about PIR so im dying to experience it! Only 9 days :) Thank you for all your help ladies! Ill be sure to check out the Meridian group too.

Welcome Bailey!!! Chris was at Meridian as well and Becky pretty much said it allN but good luck and have a lot of fun at PiR as it is awsome:)
Chris is home til Fri and he and Jen went to Maine for an overnight and oh darn they left little Jacob with his Grammy "p
oor ol me" LOL and my oldest daughter just had her first, a boy which makes 12 for us
And sorry I haven't been on as I have no internet for now just my phone and as u can see it's difficult (for me anyway lol)

welcome bailey!!!!  i think there are phases to go thru during A school, before you can have liberty, wear civies ect. Am i right lynda??? congrats to you son on receiving  the EWP where are those pics???lol  bailey is your sailor FTS or reserves???   will you be going to PIR to see him? guess your not the only one with questions....lol  Navy wife any orders yet?? lisa whats going on with you?

Hey, I just found this page. My boyfriend is graduating boot camp in two weeks and going to Meridian for logistics right after. I have lots of questions if you dont mind answering! Are all courses self pased? How does the overnight liberty work? And doea any one have a sailor in the reserves here? Thanks :)
