FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Lynda we are good. Jas will be home for xmas first one in 2 years, I'm excited. I will have him for at least one day while hes here. LOL The whole base went to Chillis for their free meal yesterday. According to Jas it was crazy. Wow a mercedes I always wanted one of them. Army paying well maybe I'll join. :) Glad he will be home for Thanksgiving.
Prices will be cheaper in Jan for Aaron to come home.

Welcome gismom. I have a chicago navy mom friend whos son is in Italy. She visited this past summer and loved it there. How good for him that he will be close to family. Enjoy your time with your son when he is home. Lisa any baby news yet??

Hi I am a new member! Thank you for this group!
He will be sent to Italy for the next 3 years. He should be coming home in about a week and a half, First time since basic. ( In July) I cant wait to see him. He is in Mississippi right now finishing school will graduate in a week or so. He also is a LS. He said he is one of the lucky ones that will be stationed in Italy. He will be in Sigonella. We have family in Palermo not far from where he will be stationed. How wonderful is that! Any more families in Italy?

You guys are so good at the computer I will have to have my daughter give me lessons on how to post pics on here when shes home from school. Suzann remind us again about your sailor you havent been on in a while. Angel where are you from in Ca? I am from chicago and am assuming you had Ginos east pizza while here.... Lynda Aaron"s girl friend is to cute is she in the Navy also?
