Ok so I got a text from my son today. He's going on a short detachment. First time going on a ship. He said he is going to go so he can get his wings...anyone know what that means??? He is on shore duty. I told him I will listen for the bell to ring, then I will know he got his wings. LOL

Kinda a cold out tonite for june so I thought I would check in on here and see whats going on with everyone. Talked to my son over the weekend and he bought a T.V. last week and it already broke. He was going to take it back, I hope they returned it for him. After he got back from leave his roomate who had transferred to a different squadron, had to move out. They had been together for 14 months since the first day my son had got to Lemoore. Neither one of them were happy with him moving. I laughed when I asked if he got a new roomate yet. He said no don't jinx it, his old roomate was spending alot of time there. He doesn't like his new roomate. Its funny how they become good friends. I hope it will be a friend he can keep for life no matter where they are!!

Glad you guys are doing well. My visit with my son went way to quick...he is on mids now so with the time change its only a quick text once in awhile now. LOL Lynda can your son send me some money from ft. knox? HA HA! My soon to be 20 year old daughter is having a hard time finding a summer job right now, could use the cash. The seal thing sure sounds like its exciting! Didn't he have his motorcycle stolen?? Did he ever get that back? Lisa Aug will be here before you know it. It would be good if you could meet her and actually like her in person!! LOL In my book no woman will ever be good enough for my son. :)When is their baby due again?
