FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Lisa he is probably taking it better than you are today. Its not that big of a deal to them as it is to us for some reason!! He will probably party it up after he gets off. :) Happy Birthday to both boys!! Keep your chin up. NMH's to Brenda and you Lisa.

Thanks Brenda he's 22 and I had a difficult time talking to him earlier as the cell service was really bad, so i'll talk to him again tomorrow. And I am really sad right now, I miss him soo much.

But on a lighter note a happy St Paddy's birthday to your son. if Chris wasn't born when he was I was to be enduced on the 17th. funny.....

So sad to be me, today is Chris's birthday so not only do I have him here but he's got duty til midnight.....nice! Sorry but I'm feeling sad for me and him :(

Chris driving in Chgo is not the easiest thing to do. I rarely drive downtown, its crazy. I ove the history lesson the more I can know bout the Navy the better off I am. :) I can tell my son stuff and he wonders how I know that stuff. Where did you go when you were in?

Thats great both stories. I know mine is gone cuz I stalk his facebook page too, and his roomate said they got back wed. nite. If he knew I did that he would kill me!! :) What they don't know won't hurt em right?? LOL Brenda mine loves the mid shift if he had has way he would work that shift all the time. So how is planning our LS get together somewhere in the middle of everyone?

Congrats to your daughter!! Did you go to PIR? I wish I had known before I could have met you. I am 40 minutes so. of GL. 29 years ago she is following in your footsteps how cool is tha!! :) What is PS? Mine waited in Meridian to class up than it ook him to finish A school; Can't wait to hear where shes going to be stationed. How long were you in for? Welcome Chris!! :) Brenda you are so not silly for reading the posts. I am wondreing how my sailor is doing myself. I have not heard from him since he got back from his 2 week det. He's mad at cuz I told him not to drive 110 miles an hour back thru the desert. Hoping he is ok. Let a msg on facebook and on his cell. If i don't har from him soon I will get his sister on hs case!! :) According to him I didn't raise him LOL
How is your sailor doing still bored?
